Radio Roam is designed to let you listen without creating an account. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the service.

Information stored on your device

Radio Roam uses your browser’s local storage to remember your saved stations and light or dark theme preference. This information stays in your browser and is not sent to Radio Roam. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

Information processed when you use the service

When you browse or search, Radio Roam sends your search terms and category selections to the Radio-Browser directory to retrieve station results. Selecting the “Near me” category also uses your browser’s language setting to guess which country to list stations from. When you play a station, your browser connects to that station’s stream provider. Those third parties may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and request time under their own privacy policies.

Third-party resources

Station data, artwork, and audio are supplied by the Radio-Browser directory and individual broadcasters. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These services may process technical request data independently of Radio Roam.

Cookies and accounts

Radio Roam does not provide user accounts and does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The service may still be hosted by infrastructure providers that maintain standard security and access logs.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.
